Bangladesh Victory Day In preparation for the celebration of Victory Day, Dhaka District Police has reinforced all security measures and intensified intelligence surveillance. On Saturday afternoon, DIG of Dhaka Range, AKM Awlad Hossain, shared these updates during his inspection of the security arrangements at the National Martyrs’ Memorial in Savar. Chief Adviser The DIG said: “Police and intelligence agencies are actively engaged in ensuring the security of the memorial and its surrounding areas. Nearly 3,000 personnel have been deployed to oversee security. Enhanced measures are also in place in adjacent districts, with special arrangements for traffic management. There are no security threats surrounding Victory Day celebrations.” He added, “For Victory Day 2024, the Dhaka District Police has implemented a five-tier security plan.
